Your data, your choice

You can export or permanently delete your Ark data at any time. The actions below are one-click from your account settings.

Export your data

Sign in, open Settings, and click “Download my data”. You'll receive a JSON file with every household record we hold — members, chores, rewards, events, messages, token ledger, consent log.

This satisfies the right to data portability under UK GDPR Art. 20 and the equivalent provisions in PIPEDA and LFPDPPP.

Delete your account

Sign in, open Settings, and click “Delete my account”. We ask you to confirm — then we remove your household, members (including children), chores, rewards, events, messages, and AI memory. Backup retention may add up to 30 days before the last copy is purged.

This satisfies the right to erasure under UK GDPR Art. 17 and equivalent rights under PIPEDA, LFPDPPP, and CCPA.

Can't sign in?

Email privacy@arkfamily.app with the email address on your account. We verify identity and process the request within 30 days.

Deleting a child profile only

Open Settings → Members → the kid's row → “Remove profile”. All data tied to that child is removed on the next sync. The rest of your household is unaffected.
